SCHOLARSHIPS
The Yamaha Music London Scholarship is an award of €1,500, and has been generously donated by Yamaha Music’s flagship store in association with the world-renowned pianist Maria João Pires. It has been created in order to reward the participant whom the tutors of SIPCS deem to have the most promising future in piano performance, and will be presented by Yamaha Music London at the final concert on Sunday evening. This gift forms part of a wider programme of awards set up by Yamaha and Pires and, in her own words, “will play an important part in assisting a new generation of talented pianists throughout Europe.” Yamaha Music London is proud to offer this particular Scholarship to Bromley Youth Music Trust, and is excited about its involvement in supporting the fledgling talent on display within this important organisation.
Angus Allnatt scholarships - up to 50% of the total fee will be available for those students who can apply and are suitable for the financial help.
