What a wonderful evening! It was terrific to hear such great performances and really special to see all the children playing together in the finale. Very uplifting! We are delighted to be able to support BYMT. Thank you very much for inviting us and see you soon.

What a terrific weekend! As always, a massive thank you to you and your team for all the organisation, scheduling, practice and general bringing together of so many young people enjoying their music. It was great to have the Canadians on board and I thought the Royal Corp of Engineers rehearsal on Sunday was exceptional.

I attended the concert last night as I currently have two sons in POPS Band. Can you please pass on my thanks to the entire staff of BYMT for all the hard work they do that we as parents don't see, such as preparation of pieces in addition to all the office work. Amazed how well the Canadians merged with our bands considering they lack of rehearsals.

Just a quick THANK YOU for inviting Rachel and I to yesterday afternoon's BIG BLOW concert. We both enjoyed it and were proud that ten WC pupils were involved, several of whom are yet to play their instruments in a school concert. I loved hearing the young musicians play so well together and sit so beautifully on the stage both as they were playing and also as part of a first half audience. In our whole school assembly this morning a talked about the concert with its variety of music as well as how proud we are of the children involved. I have a programme which I plan to laminate and display on our Music 'What's on' board. I am hoping that some of these players will join the Junior Band and become full time members. Well done to everyone for making this such an amazing experience for these young instrumentalists.

Thank you, again, for organising another splendid Minting Cup competition. We all enjoyed it immensely. The standard of performance was amazingly high for such young musicians, and it will be interesting to see how their musical careers develop. The BYMT is a special organisation for giving children such a valuable experience and we are very pleased to have become involved, in our small way. I look forward to future competitions, and hope to be able to attend some of your other events throughout the coming year. All good wishes

I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a huge congratulations on an outstanding event last night. To see the children's enthusiasm and engagement, and the clear enjoyment of the older students and professional players was truly inspiring. What you have achieved in such a short period of time is truly remarkable. Not only was it a fantastic and inspiring musical evening, but as a piece of marketing, well, it was a stroke of genius! It was a true exemplar of "stakeholder engagement" at its best. Whether you were a funder, a mayor or a parent, you can't help but have been blown away by the success of the project. And I am sure they, like me, were very proud to have been associated, in however small a way, with such a great achievement. Thank you again for inviting me, and many many congratulations to all involved.

Thank you for helping me at LPV and thank you for making it really fun! :) I can't go to LPV anymore due to the fact of me being invited to the training band. I will really miss LPV, and you have inspired me to work harder in music. Thank you!!! I will still be coming to the concerts and seeing you all play and perform a solo, so I will still see you. Thanks,

I wanted to thank you and the BYMT Big Band so very much for the great music which we enjoyed in Kelsey Park on June 26th. It was great to hear a collective sigh from the audience when I announced it was the final piece! Many of the audience each year are elderly and lonely - some folk are now becoming regulars. They rarely see children and young people performing - including your elderly friend and Battle of Britain veteran Jack Russell, and we were blessed with lovely weather after a really horrid week. We now have quite a 'following' of all ages and one group to whom I spoke earlier in the year came as their group outing. Please come to play for us again! I have enclosed a small donation from the Friends, which I hope you can use for the band. Once again, very many thanks to you and to the players for giving your time so generously to entertain us and our visitors.
