14 November 2017 What an amazing weekend of music! Big thanks to you, Mr Rowe and everyone involved starting with the brass performance masterclass on Friday, Saturday band rehearsals (pretty much all day I think for my three), a fabulous BYCB/XBY concert at Ravens Wood in the evening, on Sunday a very moving chamber brass group at Beckenham Memorial for Remembrance parade and finishing up at the Southbank Centre later in the day for the London Jazz Festival. What a wonderful experience for our young people (and their parents!). Thank you all for attending and supporting – and Len too, always great to see him. I feel it’s a great privilege for us all to be involved with BYMT – and for me, personally, a real sense that this is all drawing to a close too fast!!

13 June 2017 INFANT SONG FESTIVAL
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and everyone else that made the Infant Song Festival last week such a success. The Pickhurst children absolutely loved the whole morning. They were buzzing with excitement when we got back to school and they're still talking about it! It's lovely to see them so enthused about music. I only wish I could have brought the whole choir.
20 March 2017 What a wonderful evening! It was terrific to hear such great performances and really special to see all the children playing together in the finale. Very uplifting! We are delighted to be able to support BYMT. Thank you very much for inviting us and see you soon.

20 March 2017 What a terrific weekend! As always, a massive thank you to you and your team for all the organisation, scheduling, practice and general bringing together of so many young people enjoying their music. It was great to have the Canadians on board and I thought the Royal Corp of Engineers rehearsal on Sunday was exceptional.

20 March 2017 I attended the concert last night as I currently have two sons in POPS Band. Can you please pass on my thanks to the entire staff of BYMT for all the hard work they do that we as parents don't see, such as preparation of pieces in addition to all the office work. Amazed how well the Canadians merged with our bands considering they lack of rehearsals.

20 March 2017 Just a quick THANK YOU for inviting Rachel and I to yesterday afternoon's BIG BLOW concert. We both enjoyed it and were proud that ten WC pupils were involved, several of whom are yet to play their instruments in a school concert. I loved hearing the young musicians play so well together and sit so beautifully on the stage both as they were playing and also as part of a first half audience. In our whole school assembly this morning a talked about the concert with its variety of music as well as how proud we are of the children involved. I have a programme which I plan to laminate and display on our Music 'What's on' board. I am hoping that some of these players will join the Junior Band and become full time members.
Well done to everyone for making this such an amazing experience for these young instrumentalists.
07 December 2016 Thank you, again, for organising another splendid Minting Cup competition. We all enjoyed it immensely. The standard of performance was amazingly high for such young musicians, and it will be interesting to see how their musical careers develop. The BYMT is a special organisation for giving children such a valuable experience and we are very pleased to have become involved, in our small way.
I look forward to future competitions, and hope to be able to attend some of your other events throughout the coming year.
All good wishes

01 December 2016 I just wanted to drop you a quick note to say a huge congratulations on an outstanding event last night. To see the children's enthusiasm and engagement, and the clear enjoyment of the older students and professional players was truly inspiring. What you have achieved in such a short period of time is truly remarkable.
Not only was it a fantastic and inspiring musical evening, but as a piece of marketing, well, it was a stroke of genius! It was a true exemplar of "stakeholder engagement" at its best. Whether you were a funder, a mayor or a parent, you can't help but have been blown away by the success of the project. And I am sure they, like me, were very proud to have been associated, in however small a way, with such a great achievement.
Thank you again for inviting me, and many many congratulations to all involved.
